Yesterday, being our fifth wedding anniversary, we celebrated by going to a place called Mercato. It is an outdoor shopping, restaurant, movie theater complex in Naples. We had dinner at Bravo!, a restaurant recommended to us by the people from whom we are renting our condo. The meal was delicious! I had grilled salmon and Russ had veal parmesan.

We got a free YUMMY vanilla and chocolate gelato! |
After our meal, we walked around. It was freezing cold and windy! Although the temperature was in the upper 50s, lower 60s, it felt much colder. (Sorry those of you reading this who are experiencing sub-zero temperatures up North!)

We then saw the movie FROZEN, a highly recommended Disney movie. It was okay. Russ gets to pick the movie next time we go! On our way home, I took some photos of some of the palm trees still decorated for Christmas.

This is the way Emerald Bay Condo Community decorated the entrance. |
Today has been cold (low 60s) and rainy. I decided to square up the quilt blocks that need to be assembled into a quilt a.s.a.p. Unfortunately, one star block was over an inch too big...sigh...I had to take apart the whole thing and attempt to fix it. Seven hours later, I am done remaking the block. I am exhausted!
